Across three expansive weekends, 18 June – 4 July 2026, the Liberty Theatre transforms into something alive and shifting for Raewyn Hill's IN.RESIDENCE: GATHERING.2.
Mowgli brings a high-energy, globally connected club sound, moving between UKG, grime, baile funk and jungle, shaped through years on festival stages and underground dancefloors across Australia and beyond.
DJ ADEBOII offers a contrasting current. Known for his refined blend of Afrocentric rhythms, future beats, and percussive electronic music. Drawing inspiration from his Nigerian heritage, he delivers sets that balance rhythmic depth with smooth, contemporary groove.
Together, they hold two ends of the same pulse. Experience it across three weekends only. Book tickets now: https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1575164

Co3’s inaugural Artistic Director, Raewyn Hill, sat down with Ian Lilburne for Seesaw Magazine to reflect on her tenure with Co3 and the impact the company has had on the wider arts community.
“But Co3 is way bigger than the individuals involved and the company’s success has also been of benefit to the whole sector, across all areas of production, administration and design. In this way, a focal company contributes back to the community.” — Raewyn Hill
A thoughtful and moving reflection on Raewyn’s leadership and the growth of contemporary dance in Boorloo (Perth).

Four distinct choreographic voices. One immersive experience
We are thrilled to announce the choreographers shaping IN.RESIDENCE: GATHERING.2 at the Liberty Theatre this June: LAURA BOYNES, SAM COREN, MAY GREENBERG and SHAUN JOHNSTON.
For Boynes, whose practice spans contemporary dance, theatre, opera and interdisciplinary performance nationally and internationally, GATHERING.2 offers an opportunity to create work that is both intimate and expansive. Coren, whose career includes collaborations with Hofesh Shechter Company, Gecko Theatre and the Royal Opera House, alongside screen credits with FKA Twigs, English National Ballet and Universal Pictures, brings a theatrical and unpredictable choreographic voice that moves between sincerity, absurdity and physical precision.
Returning to Perth after several years performing internationally in SLEEP NO MORE Shanghai, Greenberg continues her growing choreographic practice following collaborations with STRUT Dance, Fremantle Biennale and Co3. Johnston, whose award winning 2025 work THE SCRAMBLE fused wrestling and contemporary dance to explore masculinity and intimacy, brings his signature physicality and interdisciplinary approach to the season.
Together, they will transform the Liberty Theatre into a living, shifting performance landscape where audiences are invited to move through the work and experience contemporary dance up close.
