Proven Project Management recently celebrated the successful completion of a $2.7 million warehouse development in Bassendean for TAXIBOX, one of Australia’s leading mobile storage and moving providers.

The project involved the delivery of two new warehouse facilities designed to support TAXIBOX’s continued growth and expanding operational requirements. Recognising the importance of the development to its future operations, Proven was engaged as Superintendent, providing strategic oversight and leadership throughout the construction phase.

Working closely with Pirone Builders, Proven coordinated key project interfaces and maintained alignment across programme, commercial, and delivery objectives to ensure the project progressed efficiently despite a number of challenges encountered during construction.

The development required proactive management of several complexities, including multiple design variations, unforeseen ground conditions, and discrepancies between early project documentation and final contract requirements. Through strong communication, disciplined contract administration, and solutions-focused project leadership, Proven successfully navigated these issues while maintaining project momentum and minimising impacts to cost and programme outcomes.

Led by Ash Standen-Howard and Jack Stenhouse, the Proven team provided consistent oversight throughout construction, ensuring risks were identified early, stakeholders remained informed, and decisions were managed efficiently across all stages of delivery.

The successful completion of the Bassendean development highlights Proven Project Management’s capability to manage complex industrial projects and deliver high-quality outcomes through collaboration, structured governance, and practical problem solving.

Proven Project Management and Rowe Group were pleased to attend the recent launch of the revitalised Piazza Fremantle precinct, a project transforming one of Fremantle’s underutilised spaces into a vibrant cultural and community destination.

Located on South Terrace, the evolving precinct aims to deliver a dynamic hub featuring more than 30 tenancies dedicated to artists, food and beverage operators, creative businesses, education providers, and community uses. Landscaping and upgrade works throughout Piazza are also helping create a more engaging and activated public space within the heart of Fremantle.

Proven Project Management has been involved in supporting the delivery and coordination of the evolving redevelopment. Several key future tenants have already been announced, including IDEA Academy, an alternative education provider, and the Children’s Museum of Art and Storytelling (CMAS), reinforcing Piazza’s vision as a creative and community-focused destination.

The revitalisation reflects a broader movement towards activating urban spaces through arts, education, hospitality, and public interaction, creating places that contribute positively to the identity, vibrancy, and long-term future of Fremantle.

Sunday 8 March marked International Women’s Day, and earlier that week members of the Proven Project Management and Rowe Group - Planning | Design | Delivery teams joined colleagues from across the industry at the Women in Property Signature Lunch hosted by the Property Council of Australia.

It was a great opportunity to hear from inspiring speakers including Daisy Pearce, whose reflections on leadership, resilience and forging new paths resonated well beyond sport.

Events like this are a reminder that progress in our industry comes not only from conversation, but from the everyday actions that support women to build long and rewarding careers.

Across Proven and Rowe Group, nearly half our team (47%) are women, working across planning, urban design, project delivery and administration, including in key leadership roles. We’re proud to support women across the business through practical initiatives that help balance career growth with life outside the office, including:

• Paid parental leave top-up and supportive parental leave policies
• Flexible return-to-work arrangements
• Encouragement and opportunities to participate in industry committees and professional development programs

This support is also reflected through the team’s representation on leading industry committees, from Lena and Alyssa with the Emerging Planners Committee, to Robyn serving on the UDIA Outlook Committee, and participation in industry mentoring programs.

It was great to see the diversity in the room, with a mix of genders attending the event together and taking part in the broader conversation around strengthening the growth and representation of women in the property industry.

Thank you to the Property Council WA for hosting another great event and continuing to champion these important discussions.

Proven Project Management and Rowe Group are proud to share that our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) has been formally endorsed by Reconciliation Australia.

The endorsement marks an important milestone for our Company and reflects a shared commitment to listening, learning, and strengthening cultural awareness across our teams. Our Reflect RAP provides a framework to build respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities, while embedding reconciliation into how we operate as planning, design, and project management professionals.

For us, this is not a symbolic step. The Reflect RAP sets clear actions that will guide our Company over the next year and beyond, supporting learning opportunities, cultural understanding, and thoughtful reflection. It also establishes a foundation for future RAP commitments as our journey continues.

We acknowledge that reconciliation is ongoing work. This endorsement represents the beginning of a structured and accountable approach to ensuring respect, inclusion and responsibility are reflected in our workplaces, our projects, and our professional relationships.

We extend our sincere thanks to Reconciliation Australia for their guidance and support throughout the development of our Reflect RAP, and to the Proven and Rowe Group teams who contributed time, insight, and care to this process.

We look forward to progressing the actions outlined in the RAP and continuing this journey with humility, purpose, and shared responsibility.

Proven Project Management was proud to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the Chung Wah Association Inc.’s new multipurpose community centre in Bentley on 22 January, marking the official commencement of a significant civic and multicultural project.

With a history spanning more than 150 years, the Chung Wah Association Inc. is Western Australia’s oldest culturally and linguistically diverse organisation. The new Bentley facility will support the Association’s expanding services, including aged care, community language programs, childcare, and cultural activities, strengthening its long-standing contribution to the WA community.

Proven has been appointed as Project Manager for the development and will oversee delivery of the new community centre from early works through to completion. The project will be delivered in close collaboration with the Chung Wah Association, government stakeholders and the wider consultant and construction team.

At Proven, it’s not all projects and approvals, we know the best ideas come from a team that feels connected and inspired.

Our Social Club recently hosted a Paint & Sip evening where our team swapped keyboards for canvases and pens for paintbrushes. Guided by an instructor, everyone created their own version of a vibrant jungle waterfall, each with its own unique flair.

The night was filled with colour, laughter, and a splash of margaritas, a perfect way to unwind, connect, and channel our creative side. Every canvas told a different story, reflecting the individuality and imagination that make our team so special.

It’s moments like these that remind us creativity doesn’t stop at the studio or the drafting table, it’s part of who we are.

Proven is growing, and we’re currently looking for Senior Project Managers and Project Managers to join our collaborative, creative and supportive team.

If you value teamwork, innovation, and career growth, this might be the next step for you. Apply in the link below and discover how you can grow with Proven.
