Late August marked a milestone for Lumen Living and the Specialist Disability Accommodation sector in WA.

Our new Mt Lawley project was officially opened by Hannah Beazley MLA, who described it as a stand-out example of what’s possible when you combine high-quality design backed by lived experience, attention to detail, and genuine sustainability.

It was an excellent turnout - with representation from industry, community, and government, including Frank Paolino MLA, Member for Mount Lawley - all coming together to celebrate a home purpose-built for people with the highest support needs on the NDIS.

A huge thank you to Mark Elsing for his uncompromising approach to reviewing our plans. His lived experience and insight continue to ensure our projects deliver the best outcomes possible for tenants.

This home is more than just a building, it's somewhere to belong, and it’s proof that SDA can set a new benchmark for quality, character, comfort, and sustainability.
