Hi everyone, we’ve arrived and are currently setting up in our home town of Perth. We are now located in the northern suburb of Hocking and just going through the council requirements to register my little business.

A Slice in Time - on the move

***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT***

Hello all my dear customers and friends!

The last 7 years in Melbourne has been incredible, I have had the opportunity to make some amazing cakes that you all have trusted me with. A special thank you to all my local Altona customers. The community support and recommendations have been nothing short of amazing. I have so many repeat customers that I feel like I am part of your family to be able to help celebrate your special occasions.

It is with some sadness, but also plenty of excitement, that I announce that my family and I will be moving back to our home town of Perth, WA. It will be super hard to leave all of you amazing people here in Altona and the greater Melbourne region, but its something my family and I have to do.

I am now fully booked until mid May, when we have to pack and move and can guarantee that every cake to go, will be getting the 110% A Slice In Time high standard of look, and equally as important, taste, that I always aim to produce.

I will be setting up in Hocking in the Perth Northern suburbs, and will advise more once we get settled.

Smash Cake!!! I reckon that little Jack is enjoying it! It was cool to be able to make a Cookie Monster smash cake and I think the photo of Jack enjoying it sums it all up!

My big girl turned 10! And her special request was to have a Tasmanian Devil cake that looked like one of her fav Tassie Devil soft toys.

Easy huh…

I created this character from scratch and she’s made from chocolate cake. All hand made and decorated and fully edible.

A long time work colleague of my husband had her 60th birthday, and the request was for something “lemony”

Knowing that Sue Boyce loves lemon meringue pie, I made a bit of a twist on that and made this….

It’s my grandmas Lemon Sponge Cake with a lemon curd and toasted Swiss Meringue.

A special 7 year old wanted a NinjaGo Lego head.

This guy has vanilla rainbow layers inside and decorated to resemble a Lego NinjaGo

This was a special cake for a long time customer.

The theme was Rainbow Lollies! I had to try make the most colourful cake around so I created this Rainbow Cale with buttercream icing decorated with fun candy and chocolates.

A very special 50th birthday that I was able to help celebrate for our most special of friends Joanne Greig Mullenger. It was an absolute honour to be able to make this special piece for you to match in with all your decorations.

Was such an amazing night!

I was lucky enough to be asked and entrusted by some amazingly close friends to make their wedding cake for their special day.

I absolutely loved making this full vegan chocolate wedding cake, which allowed their daughter with allergies to enjoy the cake with everyone else without worry.

Edible Gold leaf, hand painted gold lines along with the rice paper ribbon heart made this an ultra special project.

I loved every bit of this one.

This fun and cheeky Lego head cake was such a nice one to make. Instantly recognisable, so glad to make such an iconic fun thing.

The fully edible flowers on this one was made with rice paper rolls, super challenging technique but I think the end result is amazing and quite different. It also allows me to chose the colours to mix and match as needed.
