SCIENCE WEEK IS COMING!
Get ready for a week of curiosity, discovery and a whole lot of fun!
We’re excited to celebrate Science Week with a range of activities for our students and families, including:
Science Expo – Come along and explore, discover and be amazed as our students showcase their scientific learning and investigations!
At-Home Science Competition – We’re inviting our budding scientists to get creative and complete our fun Science Week challenge from home. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
Science Incursion – A special hands-on science experience is coming to school! Please remember to make your payment through QKR to secure your child’s participation.

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far! We are well on our way to our goal of 523 Cans for CANaby!
You can donate any day to the bucket outside Mr Keegan's class in Kaadar block (room 18).

FACTION CARNIVAL CANCELLATION - FRIDAY 7 AUGUST 2026

Dear Parents and Families

Mr Wyche, Mr McManus and I have met today and have decided to postpone next Friday’s faction sports carnival due to the high possibility of wet and cold weather. It will now be held on Friday 14th August.

The jumps and throws scheduled for Monday will still go ahead although if rain does eventuate, they may be held at a different time than advertised.

I understand families make plans to attend so I hope giving you enough notice will allow you to change any plans you may have made.

Please note these changes have been made with good intentions.

Carnaby Rise Primary School will be collecting non-perishable food items for families struggling to make ends meet. If you have any food cans spare and would like to donate them to the school, they can be dropped off to Room 18 in the Kaadar block.

Kindy applications close tomorrow Friday 24th July. Children born between 1 July 2022 and 30 June 2023 are eligible to commence Kindy in 2027.

- Child's birth certificate
- Proof of address (e.g utility bill or rental agreement)
- Immunisation history
- Any relevant court order, medical information, visa documents.

Join us tomorrow for our weekly Carnaby Rise & Shine Breakfast Club!
