Happy Monday everyone!
If you haven't already done so, head on over and follow our main page Structerre Consulting Engineers as we're not going to keep this one active much longer.
Our in-house FB posters are going to put the time taken to post in two groups, to other more meaningful tasks, like finding more beard pictures...
We are always looking to develop new methods of construction and if you like witnessing something being done for the first time, then you would have enjoyed watching yesterdays concrete pour for the new clay flat slab that we have developed!
For those who know a bit about footings and slabs, this job originally would have had a clay footing with lots of internal thickenings, but our new design enabled a perimeter footing and stiff flat slab to be used instead.
The guys on site provided some invaluable feedback with the resounding opinion being that the process was definitely easier than normal. All in all, our intent to deliver a product that saves our builders time and money has been successfully achieved!

Framing World was lucky enough to be featured in this months edition of the Master Builders Association magazine!
A fortnight ago we had the pleasure of hosting the entire JWH Drafting and Design team in Framing World, where they spent the better part of the day getting hands on with the different flooring systems, as well as conducting their own in-house training at our facilities.
The jumping on the flooring systems (because who can resist jumping on a concrete slab) and the paella and beers for lunch seemed like the ideal way to bring it all together.
We hope that the JWH team enjoyed the day as much as we enjoyed hosting them.

Our Albany team Matt Evans, Kate Evans, Scott Drake-Brockman and Andrew Walsh are all smiles today because they have officially moved, unpacked and set up shop in their brand new office space!
The weather held out, business continued on and the coffee was brewing immediately. Well done guys! If you’re in the area, don’t hesitate to drop in and say hello to our Albany team.
This morning it was our pleasure to host Dale Alcock and Dale Alcock Home Improvements in Framing World. And true to the code of those who work on site, the rain didn't deter anyone.
We hope that the bacon and egg rolls for breakfast were enjoyed by all, while we provided some tie down and roof construction training.
