Amazing weather in Jurien Bay.

Awesome first charter out of Jurien Bay, great bunch of guys. 2 of them getting their 1st Blue marlin today. Amazing weather and fishing 🤙🤙🤙

14th March, 2026. Game Time Charter's first day fishing up at Jurien Bay. If today's once in a lifetime encounter is any indication, then we have a promising few weeks ahead for marlin fishing.
We had experienced angler onboard Anthony Pecotic( Send n Bend). The fish ate my wilson (the head of this teaser is the size of a coconut) and I mean ate it! We did not get it back. Disappeared for a moment and hit the Current-Line Ego buster in the Game time green. The blue put on a show behind the boat, my boys Sebastian and Adrian cleared the deck and Pecs harnessed himself up and locked onto the fish. After an hour we weren't getting anywhere with the fish. Pecs when to sunset for the next 2 hours. 3 hours in to it with a 2-3m swell with 18-20kts on top and the wind getting stronger as the fight when on. Pecs was done and we swapped anglers. With my youngest Adrian wanting to lead the fish, Sebastian jumped on the rod for another 2 hours, keeping the drag at it's maximum. We got to be see the leader 7 or 8 times but never got close enough, just needed the extra half a metre and the fish would not give any. After 5 hours the fish came to the surface and put on another arial display we couldn't believe! This fish was all of 800Lb (if not more), we finally got another shot on the leader but Adrian could not get a full wrap and it slipped through the gloves to touch the double and busted off. Nonetheless, this was an awesome experience with my family and friend.
