WFI Executive General Manager Damien Gallagher, recently joined Mark Silveira on the Business Made Personal podcast, a series that explores the moments and experiences that shape leaders in insurance.
Damien shares reflections on where his journey began, the people who influenced him along the way, and the challenges that helped shape his leadership. He also talks about stepping into an Executive General Manager role during COVID, and the importance of staying connected to people through uncertainty by listening, supporting teams, and leading with purpose when it matters most.
It’s a thoughtful conversation that reflects what WFI stands for: strong relationships, trust built over time, and being there for people through every season.

WFI Insurance was proud to donate $10,000 to Shannon's Bridge to further their work in providing palliative care support services to rural and regional communities across Australia. The Creswick based charity enables patients to live well to the very end and believes everyone should have access to palliative care no matter where they live.
The donation underpins WFI’s ongoing commitment to rural and regional communities, and forms part of our sponsorship of Tour de Cure’s 2026 Signature Tour, a 9-day charity bike ride from Canberra to Hobart aiming to raise $2m for cancer research.
The Tour is now in its final stages, due to finish in Hobart on Saturday 21 March. To learn more about Shannon’s Bridge, please visit: https://lnkd.in/g3ifG6We, or to support Tour de Cure Australia, please see: https://lnkd.in/gWEX-yNA
