I had such a creative day yesterday. The windchime workshop was quite lovely. I got inspired halfway through and created this little girl. Just finished painting her using up all the leftover colours on palettes!. Remembering the wintry British days of my childhood in welly boots jumping in puddles and making mud pies in my pretend bakery! Once fired her skin will go a beautiful speckle caramel colour... 😍

Another sneaky peak at my automata for the exhibition in July. I don't want to give too much away but I just love this photo. The sun hitting the vintage crystal 'rain' and a beautiful hazy sunny halo...

I have nearly finished an automata for a July Exhibition in CASM. Until then little sneaky peaks allowed. So this tiny head will replace the one i already made. The original is paper mache, this is air dry clay. The original is just annoying me! She is a little lumpy and just doesn't look right. Hoping this one will be a good replacement. Delicate head removal/replacement surgery coming up...
