🕯️ You'll need:
• 100g candelilla wax
• 200g coconut oil
• Candle wick
• Heatproof jar or candle container
• Optional: 10–20 drops of your favourite essential oil (add after removing from heat)
How to make it:
1. Secure your wick in the centre of your clean candle jar.
2. In a double boiler, gently melt the candelilla wax.
3. Stir in the coconut oil until completely combined.
4. Remove from the heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly for a minute or two.
5. If using essential oils, stir them in now.
6. Carefully pour the mixture into your prepared container.
7. Keep the wick centred and allow the candle to cool and harden completely (about 2–4 hours).
8. Trim the wick to around 5mm before lighting.
💚 Why candelilla wax?
Candelilla wax is a natural, plant-based wax sourced from the leaves of the candelilla shrub. It's a wonderful vegan alternative to beeswax and creates a firm, clean-burning candle.

• Candelilla wax has a higher melting point than soy wax, so always melt it gently using a double boiler.
• Let your candle cure for 24–48 hours before burning for the best performance.
