Product of the month - 👣 Diabetic Socks 👣

Key benefits

Moisture-wicking fabric helps keep feet dry and reduces the risk of skin breakdown and fungal infections.

Seamless or flat-toe construction minimizes rubbing and pressure points, which is particularly helpful for people with diabetes, neuropathy, or sensitive feet.

Non-binding tops reduce constriction around the calf and ankle while still keeping the sock in place.

Light graduated compression (10–15 mmHg in some models) can assist circulation and help manage mild swelling.

Extra cushioning under the foot provides shock absorption and may reduce blister formation.

Odour control and breathability from bamboo-charcoal fibres help keep feet comfortable throughout the day.

These socks are particularly useful for:

Diabetes
Peripheral neuropathy
Mild oedema
Poor circulation
Sensitive skin
Patients who spend long hours standing or walking.

Heel pain with your first few steps in the morning?

One common cause is plantar fasciopathy, often known as plantar fasciitis.

It can feel like pain under the heel or through the arch, especially when getting out of bed, standing after sitting or after a sudden increase in walking, running or time on your feet.

A common mistake is thinking it only needs stretching.

Stretching can help, but long-term improvement usually comes from improving how much load the foot, calf and plantar fascia can tolerate.

Helpful management may include:

• Supportive footwear
• Calf and plantar fascia stretching
• Progressive calf and foot strengthening
• Taping or orthotic support when needed
• A gradual return to activity

Pain does not always mean damage, but heel pain that keeps returning is worth assessing properly.

The goal is not just short-term pain relief. The goal is to improve load tolerance so the foot can cope better with day-to-day activity.

Foot pain isn’t something you should just “put up with” The most common musculoskeletal issues we see are often linked to load, movement patterns, and footwear... and the good news is, they’re very manageable with the right care
