PCM Group Proudly Supporting Future Champions🏁

PCM Group were proud sponsors of the Junior Heavy and KT Light class at the Ken & Ces Ditchfield Memorial Open on the 23rd & 24th May.

The winner for Junior Heavy was Nate Pearson who started the weekend with the quick time in qualifying. Nate then went on to win his first heat, followed by an unfortunate DNF in his second heat and then finishing off day one with a 3rd place finish from the back of the field. This put him into the top 6 after day one.

Nate was lucky to draw P2 in the pole shuffle, taking to position 1 in the first corner to hold the lead for the remainder of the dash. Starting out of pole for the final, Nate got a great start and lead from lap one, finishing with a 2.6 second lead from second place.

The winner of KT Lights was Tyler McQuilkin whose weekend didn’t start off great but made a good recovery on the second day. Starting out of P9 in the feature, Tyler worked his way through the field and with a quarter of a lap to go, got to the lead and finished in 1st place.

PCM’s own Jarrad Pearson was quickest in the 125 Heavy class receiving the quick time award and had heat wins in multiple classes over the weekend.

Chloe Pearson also competed in KT Lights over the weekend and finished in 7th place, a great result for her first Ken & Ces memorial.

PCM GROUP is pleased to welcome Narayan as our new Regional Operations Manager for Western Australia.

Narayan brings over 18 years of industry experience, having started his career as a Water Blaster before upskilling in industrial coatings and blasting. He has since progressed into supervisory and senior leadership roles, with extensive experience across the oil, gas, and mining sectors.

He is particularly drawn to the diversity of people and the broad scope the industry offers. Looking ahead to 2026, Narayan is focused on expanding PCM’s presence across the greater Western Australian region. With a strong emphasis on process development, he is committed to collaborating with key stakeholders to drive strategic efficiencies and support the continued growth of our client portfolio.

In his spare time, you will find Narayan racing mountain bikes with his son.

Project Award – Darwin Ship Lift Facility

PCM Group are proud to support the delivery of the Darwin Ship Lift Facility alongside Clough BMD Group.

Having been involved since the early stages of construction, our team originally completed the coatings application for the piles and is now progressing through remediation and touch-up works as the project moves toward completion.

Working closely with Clough BMD Joint Venture, our Darwin team has contributed to key construction milestones while carefully coordinating works around strict timelines and tidal conditions to deliver all final coating repairs and finishing requirements.

We’re proud to be part of this significant Northern Territory infrastructure project and look forward to continuing our strong partnership through to successful completion.

Today, we pause to remember and honour the service and sacrifice of the Australian and New Zealand service men and women — past and present.

ANZAC Day is a time for reflection, gratitude, and respect. We acknowledge the courage, resilience, and mateship shown by those who served, and we recognise the lasting impact their service has had on our communities and freedoms.

At PCM Group, we pay our respects and remember those who gave their lives, as well as those who returned home and continue to carry their service with them.
