💜Meet Winston Churchill & Liberty💜

Winston and Liberty are a true package deal, a bonded pair who found each other in foster care and have no intention of being split up.

Winston is the gentleman of the two. He is FIV+ but has a wonderfully placid nature, good manners, and a surprising list of household "commands" he has learned, even if his interpretation of them is a little flexible. When things don't go his way, he skips the drama and goes straight for the silent protest, complete with an offended look and some pointed self grooming. He is also a clever escape artist who can open door handles, so a secure cat run or enclosure is a must for him. Above all, Winston adores Liberty and is happiest with her close by.

Liberty is the quieter half of the duo. She is a shy girl who is slowly learning that humans are alright after all, especially with Winston's steady presence beside her. She is not one for leaping into laps, but she has her own sweet way of showing affection through quick little paw taps before heading off to attend to her own business. She also loves lounging in sunny spots and generally enjoys the finer things in life.

Together, Winston and Liberty bring out the best in each other. Winston gives Liberty the confidence to come out of her shell, and Liberty gives Winston the companionship he firmly believes he deserves.

💜 Meet Basil 💜

Hi… I’m Basil 👋
And yes, I am aware that I’m extremely handsome with my angelic white coat, gorgeous tabby tail and my glowing eyes. I’ve also been told I have “main character energy” when I come stomping into a room with my signature heavy footed landings (I like to make an entrance).
I might take a moment to get to know new people (I just like to do a vibe check first 😌), but once I feel comfy, I am ALL about the love. I adore pats… like, genuinely any kind, anywhere, anytime. Lap time? Love it. Scratches? Yes please. Head bonks? That’s my signature move.
I’m also a bit of a hunter and provider, I LOVE catching bugs and proudly delivering my toys straight to you in my mouth with a big dramatic “MEOOOOW” so you can admire my hard work.
At night I may politely remind you it’s playtime with some enthusiastic chatting… and in the morning? I’ll be waiting at the door to greet you like the most loyal little house tiger ever 🐯 During the day, I’m a professional relaxer who enjoys snoozing in a cosy bedroom spot and recharging for my next zoomie or cuddle session. I've also started cuddling up to my foster families heads in bed!

💜Meet Willow💜

Willow is a beautiful young tabby girl with a gentle, sweet nature. She is a shy and sensitive soul who prefers to keep to herself and enjoys having her own safe space where she can watch the world go by at her own pace.

Willow is still learning that humans can be kind and that she is safe now. She can be quite timid, but little by little she is becoming more comfortable having people around and is slowly learning to accept human touch. She will allow gentle pats, especially when treats are involved. And speaking of treats, the way to Willow's heart is definitely through her stomach. She is very food motivated and loves creamy treats and Greenies dental treats, with chicken being her favourite.

At this stage Willow isn't a lap cat and doesn't enjoy being picked up. With time, patience and the right person, she may continue to grow in confidence and discover that being close to her humans isn't so scary after all. Her new family will need to be willing to take things slowly, respect her boundaries and let her settle in following the 3-3-3 rule, giving her the time and space she needs without expecting too much too soon.

Willow has been living in foster care alongside her brother, Tigger, and her mum, Honey. She may benefit from living with another calm, confident and cat friendly feline who can help show her the ropes and give her some extra reassurance.

She is a foster with view to adopt.

Willow was found as a stray in a park area in Girrawheen with her mother and siblings. She is looking for a quiet, patient and understanding home where she can simply be herself while she learns to trust. She may not be the kitty who jumps straight into your lap on day one, but watching a shy cat like Willow slowly build confidence and learn to trust is incredibly rewarding.

THESE CATS ARE NOW SAFE!!

🆘🆘 URGENT URGENT URGENT!! 🆘🆘

We have ceased intakes except for the cats in the colonies we have committed to but I have asked the permission of our committee to do an appeal to SAVE THESE CATS LIVES!

Of course they said yes.

So here I am trying to pull off a miracle! ❤️

One of the pounds have reached out to us absolutely desperate to get these 3 babies below into a rescue.

THEY WILL BE EUTHANISED TOMORROW
if no one can take them 😿

The tortie is obviously a girl.
The ginger and white is most likely a boy.
The tabby is unknown.

All are young and one came in with kittens which obviously everyone wanted so they were saved 🙄

Now I won’t lie to you, these cats are not friendly.
Would you be after a life on the streets?!
But they just need time and love to learn that humans are not the enemy.

WE NEED FOSTER CARERS to be able to take these cats in otherwise they will die tomorrow 💔

We only ask that carers have the following:

🐾 A working car and current drivers license

🐾 A spare room to start kitties off in

🐾 To be located in Perth and surrounds (we can’t support country areas)

🐾 Be able to foster for at least 3 months

😿 Dorky has a very important question… WHY DOES NOBODY WANT HER?! 😿

Seriously. Just look at this gorgeous girl! 🥺❤️

Dorky is smoochy, sweet, affectionate and full of personality — basically all the good things you could possibly want in a kitty. And yet, through absolutely no fault of her own, she’s been bounced from one foster home to another.

And now… she’s facing another move. 💔

Her current foster carer can only keep her until the end of this week because of allergies, and poor Dorky is probably wondering what she has to do to finally get her happily-ever-after. 🥺

She really thought by now she’d have her very own person, her very own couch and her very own kingdom. 👑

And honestly, Dorky doesn’t ask for much.

She would simply like to be Queen of the Castle — because other animals? Absolutely not, thank you very much. 😂👑🐾

She’s perfectly happy with older kids 10+, and in return, she’ll happily provide smooches, cuddles, companionship and plenty of adorable attitude.

After all the upheaval she’s been through, Dorky deserves some stability, love and a place she can finally call home. ❤️

💜 TA**US UPDATE!! 💜

Thanks to all who donated and shared our post for Ta**us he was able to have his dental on Friday.

15 teeth out so he only has one left which is one of his lower canines.
It was decided that this tooth needed to stay because the other one was removed which causes some instability in the jaw and the risk of fracturing his jaw to remove the other one was too great.

If it causes him problems in the future it will need to come out but for now it is fine and a jaw fracture was not worth the risk.

Ta**us is recovering well but did have a rough weekend as he struggled to keep food down.
Thankfully today he has been able to eat without throwing it back up.

He is a much happier cat now despite the look on his face in this post op photo 😜

The first new cat species discovered in 100 years!! 😻

A new species of cat has been discovered for the first time in a century. When National Geographic Explorer and biologist Paola Nogales-Ascarrunz first encountered the cat at a wildlife sanctuary in Bolivia a decade ago, she thought it belonged to the species Leopardus tigrinus. It wasn't until later that research and genetic analysis showed that the cat had its own distinct place on the family tree—and experts think that there may be more new species of small wild cats to discover around the world.

Columbina’s kittens are thriving and yesterday Sandrone had her babies!

As you can see, they are content in their cuddle puddles and all doing well.

Just as well we trapped them when we did!
