Good morning everyone. As you would know by now that effective from 6pm Sunday 31 January until 6pm Friday, February 5, 2021 the WA State Government implemented a 5 day hard lock down for Perth Metro, Peel and the South-West. Below is some information from the Master Builders WA that provides exact rules relating to the electrical industry.

After discussions with the Premiers office, Master Builders WA can confirm building and construction sites will continue to operate through the WA lockdown, however masks MUST be worn at all times and the practicing of good hygiene and social distancing must be adhered to.

RENOVATIONS AND ENTERING PEOPLES HOMES
In terms of the renovation market, Builders and Trade Contractors are allowed to work in people’s homes, providing they wear a mask. If a person does not want them in their home, then they must respect this and leave. They must also comply with all the other requirements as outlined by the Premier.

FACE MASKS
Face Masks are to be worn at all times when outside of your place of residence, this includes at workplaces and on public transport. The face mask used must meet the guidelines. Scarves and bandanas are not suitable to be used as face masks.
