TONIGHT π The luck of the Irish is with comedy fans of Perth as not 1 but 2 of Dublin's funniest make 1st time visits to our stage at The Shoe, joining an already megawatt line-up with Laura Davis, Werzel & the unmissable Nick Sun.
β¨ Guest host is the constantly globe trotting Ian Coppinger (regular compere at The Comedy Store in London & oft touring with the UK's Whose Line Is It Anyway? OG cast). Supporting stars include the π charming & quick-witted rising star (in Oz for the 1st time) Emily Ashmore. Also for the 1st time we welcome 2025 Raw Comedy WA finalist Lachy Skinner & the return of 2x finalist, Perth's Chilean sensation, Jetro Gainza; plus Doug Stanhope's and our WA fave Sian Choyce π₯
This night of Auslan-interpreted laughs will be our last monthly showcase for a little while - & with limited cabaret seating available - so get in while you can . π’ Now that we've ((almost) recovered from our biggest Fringe season yet, we're back bringing your regular lols the 3rd Wed of the month, and couldn't be more pumped for our March line-up.π₯
For the 1st time at The Shoe - after years up a mountain being a shamanic healer(!) - we welcome So You Think You're Funny? (UK) winner & comics' comic Nick Sun. And, before moving east, WA rising star & Triple J announcer Frankie drops by one more time.
π£ Australia's oldest comedy club teams up with the country's biggest comedy fest to present the WA Heat/Final of Melbourne International Comedy Festival's annual national search for the best new young comedians in Oz: Class Clowns 2025.
High school aged teens (13-18) are invited to unleash their comic talent & voice via stand-up, sketch, musical or physical comedy.
βοΈ Perth's winner, determined by industry judges, will be invited to compete at the National Grand Final in Melbourne this April.
π Last year WA's Shayla Keane was crowned national champ. Can Perth win back-to-back?
