NO ONE IS “GROOMING KIDS” TO BE TRANSGENDER.

One of the ugliest accusations being thrown around right now is the claim that adults are “grooming” children to be trans.

It’s not just wrong.
It’s dangerous.

And it follows a very old, very ugly pattern.

Throughout history, when leaders want to stir fear and rally anger, they claim they’re “protecting the children.”

• Jewish people were accused of harming Christian babies.

• Gay men were falsely labeled predators.

• Black communities were painted as threats to white innocence.

When you want to dehumanize a group, you attach them to children and fear.

It’s propaganda 101.

And now it’s being used against transgender people and those who love and support transgender people.

So let’s be clear:

No one can make someone transgender.
Being trans is not contagious. It is not recruited. It is not coached into existence.

Major medical organizations — including the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Medical Association, and the American Psychological Association — recognize that gender identity is a deeply rooted aspect of who someone is. It is not something an adult can “talk a child into.”

If that were possible, conversion therapy would have worked to make LGBTQ people straight.

It didn’t.

Because that’s not how identity works.

Now let’s talk about care.

When a young person experiences persistent, consistent, insistent gender dysphoria, medical professionals follow careful guidelines. Puberty blockers — when prescribed — are reversible medications that pause puberty to give families and doctors time.

They are not handed out casually.
They are not surgeries.
They are not political statements.

They are medical decisions made by families and physicians — the same way we make decisions about diabetes care, cancer treatment, or mental health support.

The real government overreach isn’t parents working with doctors.

It’s politicians inserting themselves into exam rooms.

Trans kids are NOT being groomed.

They are being bullied.
They are being targeted.
They are being used as political pawns.

And that’s what should concern us.

If we truly care about protecting children, we must protect them from violence, from shame, from isolation, and from policies that increase su***de risk — not from affirming healthcare supported by every major medical body.

A lie repeated often enough can start to sound like “common sense.”

So we answer it.

With facts.
With steadiness.
With love.

Because our kids deserve truth, not propaganda.

The Transgender Law Center has been selected as one of the beneficiaries for the second leg of Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet tour.

“The Sabrina Carpenter Fund will directly support TLC’s Legal Information Helpdesk,” the organisation announced, “which responds to more than 2,200 requests annually and the training of more than 400 trans leaders through programs like the Disability Project, Black Trans Circles, and Positively Trans — driving the Trans Agenda for Liberation forward.”⁠
