This two part album took almost a decade to make. Not because I was carefully crafting it for ten years, but because I was living it.
I recently sat down with Bernard Zuel to talk about the story behind Rotate On The Ache, the relationship that inspired it, and why I chose to tell that story in such detail.
I'm incredibly grateful for the thought and care he brought to this piece.

There’s a movie playing out in my mind as the music takes shape. The images pull all the components together. Little fragments of feeling, colour, texture, memory.

Starting over for me was like pulling from an empty well. Not only had I lost so many people around me, I had lost myself too.
I started small, writing on my own again and learning how to enjoy the creative process again. Slowly, the ideas started forming and something bigger than me began to take shape.
