A big thank you to everyone who has shown support over the last week - we are overwhelmed with your love for free range! It is with great sadness that we announce the impending closure of the free range gallery space at 339 Wellington Street, Perth. The decision to end our lease by the City of Perth, to undertake building maintenance, is met with great disappointment by the free range inc committee, and leaves us with no option other than to cancel our exhibition period from August onwards.

Although sad, these circumstances do provide us with a great opportunity to reflect upon and acknowledge all of the artists, family, friends and the broader community for all of the support, energy and talent they have brought to our beloved gallery on Wellington Street.

Looking to the future, free range inc is committed to continuing as one of WA’s oldest ARIs and is currently seeking a new space, hoping to resume supporting Perth artists as soon as possible. In the meantime, however, we are thrilled to present 5 months of fantastic exhibitions by some of Perth’s most exciting early career artists.
