It is with mixed feelings that Give Write announces that Jeff Healy, our Co‑Founder and Chairperson, will be stepping down from the Board.

Jeff, along with Anita and Ben, helped create a simple but powerful way to repurpose surplus stationery for children who would otherwise go without. Since 2019, Give Write has supported 40,000 WA students and distributed $2 million worth of school supplies — one of only two organisations in Australia doing this work.

Jeff’s steady leadership and compassion have shaped Give Write into the community‑driven charity it is today. He now feels it’s the right time to step aside and make space for another passionate, values‑driven leader to guide Give Write into its next chapter.

Schools, students, workplaces and community groups can make a huge impact by running a ⭐Stationery Donation Drive⭐ for Give Write.

Why it matters:
• Reuse is better than recycling or becoming waste.
• It goes directly to WA kids in need — there are more than 100,000 children living below the poverty line in our state.
• It’s easy to do — we’ll send you an information pack with everything you need to run your donation drive.
• Oh, and you could win a $500 Officeworks voucher!!!! 😲😲😲

It's happening tomorrow! Bottle Top Hill will be collecting stationery for Give Write at the City of Melville's EcoHub.

Go through that junk drawer, clear out your kids stuff and donate your unwanted school supplies, so it can be repurposed for kids in need 🖊️🖍️🖌️

Our ANNUAL GIVE WRITE DRIVE is on Saturday, 12 September 2026 (anytime between 9am-11am) at the City of Melville EcoHub, 555 Leach Highway, Winthrop, with staff & students from Murdoch University helping us out for another year! 🙏

Give Write collects donations of new and lightly used stationery and school supplies. The items are repackaged and distributed to WA students in need.

Our recent trip to Albany was action packed!

⭐Students at North Albany Senior High School volunteered their time as part of their community service studies, helping us prepare stationery for local students.

⭐Our CEO, Monica Smith, joined the morning program on Great Southern Radio to chat about Give Write's circular economy, keeping school supplies in use.

⭐We also spent time with our dedicated Albany volunteers, who prepare donations before being delivered to students across the Great Southern region.
