Wombat RC Racing

Another season draws to a close and this was our best season yet. We managed to run every meeting (other than the state title and King of Wings) and finished every race (both heats and features) which helped bag some valuable points for the end of season.

We placed 3rd for class championship, just behind Clive and Craig. A massive improvement this year for us after the struggles over the last 2 years and we already have some things in the works for the 2026/27 season which will be revealed soon.

Stats:
3 Podiums (2x championship point rounds, 1x club day)
1 heat race win (club day)
Best finish - 2nd
Best time - 7.752 second lap (Best Pairs event)

The 2025/26 season has officially wrapped up and a new video is finally out after some issues.

This was one of my favourite nights of racing and a meeting I won’t forget for a long time, This one is worth watching

Final night of racing for the 2025/26 season is done and dusted with the best pairs event, A night full of fun, hard racing and some great laughs.

A solid night for us had us ticking off another milestone with a heat race win straight off the bat and to do it from the rear of field was insane. With only 2 late models, they put us in the field with the sedans, was definitely a challenge having to learn to navigate slower cars but it’s the only way I was gonna learn.

Not a lot to report on the night, just this video is definatly one to watch and is hopefully the start of some big things to come next year.

Finally a new video has dropped.
We apologise for the delay as we have had things come up during the week and just got a little busy but it’s finally here.

This was our final points race of the season and we aimed for a good result but unfortunately we just went backwards during the night and it wasn’t meant to be.

One more meeting left this year and it’s the best pair meeting, which I’m sure will be a banger, so either get track side or make sure you hit subscribe.

Just when we thought our season was done, it is not and we get to race one last time in the 2025/26 season

This was the final night to bag any points we could on the season and ultimately wanting to finish the season on a high (unfortunately it didn’t)

A Main: P7 - DNF (I believe it maybe a burnt out clutch - engine revving but no drive)
