We’re looking for an experienced Open Pit Mining Consultant to join our Perth team.

This role would suit a Senior Mining Engineer looking to broaden their consulting experience, or a Principal-level consultant ready to take a lead role across project delivery, client engagement and technical direction.

At Entech, you’ll work across a broad mix of commodities, study stages and mining challenges, from early stage studies through to feasibility, operational support, due diligence and technical reviews.

With offices in Perth, Melbourne, New Zealand, Canada and the UK, Entech offers the opportunity to work across a genuinely diverse range of projects and operations.

And more importantly, you’ll be working alongside good people, including mining engineers, geologists and geotechnical engineers, to deliver practical, technically robust and commercially focused outcomes for clients across Australia and internationally 🌏

Welcome to Entech, Victoria Lawns 🙌

Victoria brings more than 14 years of operational experience across underground and open-pit operations in WA and Guyana. Her recent role was Senior Resource Geologist at Antipa Minerals, with previous experience across Plutonic, Karouni in Guyana, Mount Monger and the Focus Minerals Coolgardie and Widgiemooltha Operations.

Her background gives her a strong practical edge across modelling, resource estimation and troubleshooting complex geological datasets.

Victoria adds even more capability and depth to the team and we are looking forward to having her involved across a range of client projects.

What started as a chat 10 years ago turned into something a bit bigger.

Tom Parrott took his love of working on mine sites and brought it into the consulting world, backing it with real experience and a genuine interest in the variety that comes with the work.

That combination has played a big role in the growth of our Geotechnical team. Under Tom’s lead, it has become a strong part of the business in its own right, working closely with our mining engineers and geologists to deliver a practical, coordinated solution for clients.

Tom has played a big part in building Entech’s Geotechnical arm into what it is today and in shaping Entech’s story and success.

Adding more depth to the modelling bench.

Welcome Lee Evans to the Entech Geology team, bringing a strong focus on modelling and resource estimation.

Lee joins us with six years of operational experience at Plutonic and Mungari, followed by four years at Seequent as a Project Geologist, supporting clients across Australia and the broader Asia-Pacific region. He has also completed postgraduate qualifications in geostatistics, bringing both theoretical knowledge and practical know-how.

He’s built a solid reputation for supporting clients and getting the most out of their models. Safe to say he knows his way around Leapfrog.
