Friday. ❤️

This week reminded me that there’s a difference between being able to keep going and needing to keep going.

I’ve been unwell and still showed up, but if I’m honest, I probably should have listened to my body sooner.

So today, I’m grateful for the reminder that rest isn’t weakness, asking for help isn’t failure, and taking care of ourselves matters too.

Here’s to ending the week with gratitude, grace, and a little more self-compassion. 🤍

What are you grateful for today? ✨

~ GRATITUDE ~

Life feels heavy for so many people right now. The world moves fast, bad news is everywhere, and it’s easy to focus on what isn’t going right.

So here’s a gentle reminder from my heart to yours: take a moment to pause, breathe, and notice the good that still surrounds us.

Right now, in this moment, can you name 5 things you’re grateful for?

Here are mine:

1. My family!!! the loud, chaotic, loving village that keeps me grounded. I love every single one of you eggs. ❤️
2. The privilege of doing work that matters and helps the vulnerable and performing music that fuels my soul.
3. A safe place to come home to at the end of the day.
4. Good food, clean water, and all the little things we often take for granted.
5. The people who show up!! The friends who bring laughter, honesty, support, calm, and the occasional dose of beautiful chaos.

Some days gratitude comes easily.
Some days you have to look a little harder.

But even in the toughest seasons, there is usually something worth holding onto, a kind word, a warm meal, a sunrise, a memory, or simply the gift of another day.

Today, I’m choosing to look.

What are your five? ❤️

I’m shouting this from the rooftops because my little sister won’t ❤️

My incredibly intelligent, driven, ridiculously hard-working (and yes… extremely fastidious 😂) little sister just graduated from Victoria University Wellington with her Doctor of Health.

A whole Doctor. DR. NORA. PARORE😭

I honestly don’t think people see the amount of sacrifice, pressure, discipline and sheer determination it takes to get to this point. The late nights, the stress, the self-doubt, the constant striving for excellence… and she did it all with grace, integrity and a brain that genuinely blows me away.

I am beyond proud of you, Watching you achieve this has made me emotional in ways I can’t even explain. I may have cried. Multiple times 😂

The world is so lucky to have someone like you in it, compassionate, brilliant, thoughtful and fiercely dedicated to making a difference.

Love you endlessly sissy. You did it ❤️

Some weeks really humble you.

This week has been full of big...HUGE conversations, heavy moments, and people quietly carrying more than anyone realises.

And honestly… I felt it too.

Behind a lot of “I’m fine” is exhaustion, pressure, worry, or someone just doing their best to hold it all together.

One thing I keep coming back to is this: people don’t need perfection from us. They need kindness. Patience. Understanding. A little grace.

So if this week has felt heavy for you too, you’re not alone.

Some of the strongest people I know are the ones who keep showing up while fighting battles nobody sees.

Be gentle with people. 🤍
