Some low rail pressure faults on this Vermeer wood chipper with a Cummins QSB4.5 engine. After replacing the fuel filters and cleaning the lines, it was still underperforming when running under load. So, after sending the injectors and the pump away for testing, the pump was underperforming and not making enough pressure.

Fitted the new Bosch pump and injectors back in. The machine is back up and running and eating trees again.

Apologies we have been absent for so long. Good news is we are heading home and will be back open for business on Monday 8th December.

Just some pics from a start to finish of a perkins 4.5L engine overhaul out of JCB telehandler.

Bit of a smoky job with this JLG boom lift with a littel 3 cylinder deutz diesel engine. Burning engine oil because of a blown head gasket.

Well definitely got caught out with the rain this week. Please check your brakes in this wet weather. This actros truck was running a little to fine on the line even had to replace one of the calipers.

We've had the pleasure of hosting our first work experience student and it's been a blast.
Josh came to us to see what it's like being a diesel mechanic for 3 weeks. It's safe to say he got his hands dirty and learned a lot and loved it.
Thanks for giving us a chance to show you the ropes Josh and for giving the opportunity 110% . We wish you all the best finishing school and hope to see you around again soon.

Replaced this clutch and actuator on this Mercedes Actros for a customer. All back up and running for the new year.

Big job completed on this eaton fuller synchromesh gearbox out of a hino gh. Replaced synchro rings and bearings on the main shaft.all back up and running and shafting gears smoothly.

Don't have a Forklift on-site no problem.

Vermeer bc1400xl feed roller bracket had snapped off. All welded back together and fitted back into place.
