Morawa Youth Centre Re-opening Monday 15th June!!

It's a privilege to be partnering with the Shire of Morawa to ensure the ongoing operation of the Morawa Youth Centre.

Re-opening Monday 15th June with new age groups, lots of fun and JKF staff bringing the vibes. Get your teenager and young crew around it!!

🎉 EXCITING NEWS! 🎉

We're expanding the Northampton Youth Centre, introducing new days and age groups to give more young people the opportunity to get involved.

From next week, we'll be operating across three afternoons each week, with dedicated sessions for different age groups — including a new Monday session for School Years 6–8!

• Monday – School Years 6–8
• Tuesday – School Years 9+
• Thursday – School Years 7+

Join us for a free Rocky Road Cooking Class at the Northampton Youth Centre!

Open to students in Years 7–12, this session is a great chance to get hands-on in the kitchen and make something delicious to take home.

We're honoured for the support of the Mid West Ports Authority and all their staff. This will go directly to funding youth worker staff around the Midwest to support young people. Thank you!!

We’re proud to introduce the JK Foundation as this year’s Mid West Ports Staff Consultative Committee Charity Partner, with $15,000 being donated to the organisation.

Each year, Port staff nominate and support a local charity through fundraising initiatives including our Port Bus Tours, On Water Port Tours and other community activities.

The JK Foundation is dedicated to enriching regional communities by helping young people reach their potential through improved access to sport, education, health and wellbeing opportunities.

The official cheque presentation was made by Mid West Ports Board Chair Noel Hart and CEO Damian Tully to JK Foundation Chair and Founder Josh Kennedy and Operations Manager Kent Morgan at last week's Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry- MWCCI Business After Hours event.

Casual work in Northampton!
Are you looking for a few hours of casual work per week? Do you want to work in a meaningful and purposeful role building into the young people of Northampton and the Midwest? And be part of a great team?!

We have casual work as a Youth and Programs Worker, initially based as part of our team in Northampton serving the young people and community through the Youth Centre.
