Alogo Analysis

The FEI’s Eventing Risk Management Steering Group (RMSG) is always trying to improve the safety of Athletes and Horses during competitions and especially during Cross-Country.

Scientific studies using the Alogo device have been conducted during the competitions held in Avenches 2021, Montelibretti 2022 and Pratoni 2022 in order to better quantify and explain the efforts provided by the horses during Cross Country and help to prevent injuries in the sport.

All sensor parameters were analysed and compared using the Qualysis™ system with a focus on stride length and height, actual trajectory of the jump, angles, and push-off.
