Currently accepting referrals for Support Coordination and Psychosocial Recovery Coaching across Perth Metro.

Unity Support is currently looking for a Psychosocial Recovery Coach in Kwinana/Rockingham or Armadale/Cannington areas. Flexible hours, minimum 15 hour per week, based at home with travel involved. Can build up to full time in coming months if preferred.

Requirements:
• Legal eligibility to work in Australia
• Current Australian Driver’s License
• Compliance with NDIS Worker Screening requirements
• A satisfactory national police records check
• Experience in human services – disability, mental health, housing or another relevant sector
• Lived or learnt experience of mental health, and
• Minimum Cert IV in Mental Health/tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Social Work, or
• At least two years relevant experience in mental health

Desirable:
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current Working with Children Check (Western Australia)
• Understanding of the role of Psychosocial Recovery Coaching within the NDIS
• Knowledge of or access to relevant service providers across mainstream and other community service sectors, including mental health and disability providers
• Demonstrated understanding of the impact of disability and or mental health conditions on a person’s tasks of daily living or opportunity to ‘live a normal life’
• Knowledge of and ability to demonstrate caseload management and quality of service within this environment
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise duties and work autonomously when required
• Experience in all Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook
