CTS are looking for two apprentice Arborists (17 to 20 years old) to train in the brand new "Trade Certificate in Arboriculture". As far as outdoor work goes it doesn't get much more exciting - Google 'Professional Climbing Arborists' and take a look.

Upon completion you will be certified just like plumbers, electricians and mechanics and be able to take your trade with you through life.

You will need to be fit and agile and undertake a medical to ensure suitability prior to commencement.

CTS have taken more trainees from scratch to expert Arborists than anyone else since 1988 when we formed. Most remain within the industry and continue to learn new skills.

We are 100% all about safety and training with have a heavy emphasis in this area along with out RTO trainers and partners. Skills covered on the inside training days are reinforced by Certified Supervisors when you are back in the field.

CTS are seeking numerous staff for the new year. We need immediately, 4 Squirrel mobile EWP operators or people with experience or who have worked in similar areas that are keen and able to learn this new skill.

Experienced operators will receive excellent remuneration and job benefits as part of their employment package. This can include training towards Cert III in Arboriculture which 12 CTS staff members are due to complete in February next year.

Basic certification needed prior to commencing this work are training in electrical awareness, a chainsaw operators ticket and a White card. Machinery operation training is provided in house as is First-aid new and refresher courses, skilled pruning techniques and in depth safety training.

To support the above ground work team we need 4 x new ground staff. These positions requires healthy, fit employees who are keen to get into the industry. Full training and certifications are supplied to the right applicants. School leavers are encouraged to apply.

CTS is looking for an experienced Squirrel EWP operator to join our street tree pruning team.

The successful applicant must have relevant Power line certification and at least 6 months experience pruning trees around live power lines.

We are based in Malaga and currently manage street trees for 6 local government councils.

Operations are supported by managers and line supervisors as well as heavy duty mechanics to service and maintain equipment to the highest levels.

Staff work in teams with dedicated ground staff, traffic management teams and clean up crews. All pruning staff are supplied with their own gear which is for their use only and not shared.

We are a medium sized Tree Services company with a fleet of late model heavy, medium and light rigid trucks, elevated work platforms, trailers, utes and other plant (e.g. - small loaders and wood chippers).

All our work is in the Metro area and we work between 6.30 am and 3.00 pm with some OT when necessary. If you are sick of remote work need a change and want to work in a relaxed safe environment then this is for you.

Our main operations involve tending to long-term contracts with several local and state government authorities.

Our modern workshop facility in Malaga has full equipment for repairs and servicing including a 20 tonne hoist, industrial compressors and general mechanical equipment. The successful applicant will run the workshop with the assistance of support staff.

A late model vehicle is provided which is available to take home from the workplace or attend to occasional field issues. This is a full time position with additional superannuation and annual holidays.

The CTS team consists of 30 outside staff and 7 office staff including operations and office managers providing additional support.

The successful applicant will need to be experienced in all areas of heavy duty diesel vehicle and plant maintenance with the ability to handle hydraulic repair issues.

Advanced technical matters such as e.g. specialist welding or intricate auto electrics are outsourced where need be.
Safety is Paramount and no shortcuts are taken with compliance when completing any tasks.

Remuneration details provided will be discussed based on experience with the addition of a vehicle also available. Price ranges advertised are negotiable depending on the applicant.
