Sewing Beez

Taking a moment to say a very grateful thank you to all who have crossed my path and trusted me with their sewing during my dressmaking era. I have absolutely loved designing, making and altering so many beautiful things over the years.

While I’m not packing away sewing machines personally, I have been slowly winding my sewing business down for the last 6 months and have now ceased operating. My too early too energetic real job keeps me busy enough and It’s time to make space for all the other things life has in store.

It was not the speediest of sewing projects and my favourite Auntie was very very patient with me 🥰

Breaking from the sewing machine as I always do in late May…. It’s a birthday month in our home and red velvet cake is my current challenge 😍

Four down four to go!

The stacks are epic but one layer at a time, they are becoming beautiful dense comfy four inch thick outdoor seating and backs and I’m having a truly creatively fun time 🍹🌴

Zips are in!!! Eight zipper panels done, completed with inserted zips lined up and stitched into place perfectly. Definitely a happy dance moment 😁
