Mural from the past…loved painting this minimalist branded mural but mostly appreciate all the support from the owner herself. Thank you so much for the opportunity

What if you bet on yourself and you win? What if all the work you put in today leads to the life you’ve always wanted? Think about your biggest dream, the one that feels so far away it’s scary to even say it out loud. What if you knew, for a fact, that it was all going to happen? The dream job, the true passion, the feeling that everything is falling into place.

If you knew that all your efforts would pay off and your future was bigger and brighter than you could have ever imagined, would you start doing the work right now?

How I stay creative between murals

Honestly there hasn’t been a lot of time between murals lately which I am so happy about. I would love to paint one each week in the future. Recently I’ve just been designing the murals, communicating with the client and visiting the sites. However, here are a few other ways I stay creative between murals:

1. I try and get my boys outside to paint with me. It’s extremely messy and half the time they end up painting in their diapers. It is so fun to explore painting with them and it can help you to go back to the basics. We are mixing colours and not giving a second thought to what we are painting. It is just fun.

2. About once a month I find a night that I finally have little alone time and I get to paint what I want in my studio. I use to paint on canvas but recently switched to plywood, adding texture paste.

3. I’m constantly following other artists on instagram and pinterest to get some inspiration and motivation.
