One of our new projects underway in Floreat. Adding on an additional 200m2 of living space for a growing family, including a huge workshop and garage while we're at it.!! Stay tuned for the updates.

I'm happy she's happy, but I'll need to get to those plans sometime soon.

Carpentry. Takes me back to being a little tacker watching the old man build a Jarrah picket fence. The sound of the saw and smell of the timber. Back in those days the sound of a nail being driven home!! 💪

Finally blue skys here in Perth after a month straight of rain. Still no sign of brickies though.!!!

A few pics of a project we finished just prior to Xmas 2019. The year to follow was a trying one for everyone and this week we've just had another sampler of what 2020 delivered to us over that period. Hope everyone is weathering well and shout out to the legendary fire fighters who have put themselves on the line in extremely trying conditions this week. Lets all do what we can to help all those affected in any way we can in the days ahead. Take care out there.

A before and after of one of our projects in construction in Midland. This was well designed in terms of keeping costs down due to simply enclosing the existing carport to create a study/theatre room, a bathroom and laundry.
The double garage was added at the front and tied into the main roof. Turning a 3x1 into a 4x2 with double garage without too much fuss and not too far off done at 10 weeks in.

Our most recent kitchen renovation on a nice old home up in Kalamunda. These older timber framed homes always throw up a challenge but a rewarding end result and the owners are chuffed. What made up the original space was a kitchen and dining seperated by a very low bulkhead making each room feel very cramped for space. So we removed the bulkhead, pulled down the ceilings and replaced them, creating one large room with a nice new kitchen that flows into the dining area. Marri timber benchtops, butlers sink and a window with a view out into the backyard. Still retaining the original wood fired stove, add in the subway tiles and this kitchen fits right in with the era of the home but gives the centre of the home a brand new space.

Some pics of our latest project almost complete down in Claremont. A complete demo of the existing alfresco area and rebuilt about 5 times the size with a cathedral roof and a nice outdoor tile on concrete slab underneath and around the pool. As well, a conversion of the existing flat roof over the garage to a steep pitched roof with a drop down ladder that leads to a large loft/storage area within the roof space. Has been a challenge but a lot of fun and a pleasure to build for such nice people as Geoff and Jackie. When we are finished here I'm really going to miss Jackies home baked treats and double shot coffees!

I really enjoyed this renovation. We completely demolished the kitchen, en-suite, bathroom and removed and relocated some walls to turn an old and poorly designed home into a nice place to be.
