Hello everyone ☺️ it’s been a while since I’ve shown my face on here. With a few new people following me, I thought I’d take a moment to reintroduce myself. If you don’t already know me, I’m Jess - a Perth based photographer specialising in Portraits and Dance Photography. My two great passions in life are dance and photography, and I love that I can combine those two and make magic ✨

My photographic style is a mix of dynamic portraiture and movement, with an emphasis on dancers and expressive moments. Incorporating both natural and urban settings, using soft, natural lighting and studio flash lighting. There’s an elegant simplicity to my compositions, with a mix of posed and candid moments.

I’d describe my editing style as clean and bright, with a touch of black and white edits that add a timeless, classic touch to the images.

Although I predominantly photograph dancers, I do still photograph a variety of different sessions including weddings and lifestyle shoots.

Speaking of weddings, next year I’m getting married in May, so I will be closing off my books for the month of May and opening back up after for June.
