DEVELOPMENT UPDATE | Glen Iris Village

Erceg Management are pleased to announce that Glen Iris Village has received development approval by the Western Australian Planning Commission, with construction anticipated to commence shortly.

The mixed-use development will transform vacant land into a vibrant, community-focused destination, designed to create a modern village atmosphere. This is an exciting development for the Glen Iris community and the approval marks a significant milestone.

DEVELOPMENT UPDATE | Alexander Heights shopping centre

We are excited to announce that work is set to begin on improving Alexander Heights Shopping Centre.

The redevelopment will expand the Centre’s strong food offering and revitalise the amenity for the local community. The works will include:
• A brand new dedicated alfresco piazza area, complete with a vibrant children’s playground
• Exciting new fresh food and dining retailers
• Fantastic new entrances and updated mall areas
• A fresh new-look Woolworths Supermarket offering even more choice and convenience, with their Direct-to-Boot service
• Even more convenient car-parking with shade and solar panels
• An upgraded external façade and walkways

We are committed to adding value to the local area, and minimising disruption while we undertake these works.

The project is expected to create dozens of local jobs during construction, and the Centre will continue to back local employment with more retail, hospitality and customer service jobs supported following the opening.

RETAIL UPDATE | Two Rocks Village

This week we started work on our giant community mural at Two Rocks Village, led by talented artist Linzi Carter Artist, in collaboration with the year 6 cohort at Two Rocks Primary School, and supported by Woolworths.

The vibrant mural hopes to celebrate the unique coastal identity of Two Rocks and the greater Yanchep region in WA, featuring locally-found marine forms including abalone shells, and the iconic Western Australian Rock Lobster.

We can’t wait to share the finished mural soon.

RETAIL UPDATE | Try Local, Buy Local presented by Buy West Eat Best

Last month, we joined forces with Buy West Eat Best to help promote local Western Australian produce across our shopping centres. Throughout the month, customers could enjoy free kids activities and competitions, and pick up a free cookbook full of quick and easy meal inspiration.

Last Saturday we hosted a centre-wide celebration at Alexander Heights shopping centre, featuring live cooking demonstrations with chef Don Hancey, and tasty samples from local producers.

The activations connected our shoppers with with WA grown, farmed and fished food. The campaign focused on making local choices visible, accessible and practical.

Thank you to the Buy West Eat Best team, our retailers, and the local producers that helped bring this campaign to life.

RETAIL UPDATE | Tiny Travellers Bug Hotel

Bug guests have arrived across our retail Centres!

These summer holidays, customers at Alexander Heights Shopping Centre, Lakes Shopping Centre, Springs Shopping Centre and Parks Centre can check in to the Tiny Travellers Bug Hotel. Kids and families can explore the butterfly bungalow, honeycomb house, ladybird lounge and more, learning all about our backyard bug friends.

We’re pleased to share the opening of Açaí Mist at Springs Shopping Centre, complementing our diverse mix of food retailers.

Açaí Mist brings a vibrant, modern take on soft-serve açaí, crafted fresh and built exactly how you like it. The hero of the menu is their signature açaí soft serve, paired with a rotating seasonal flavour that tastes as good as it looks. From there, choose from a wide selection of toppings and sauces (from fresh fruit to Bueno and pistachio drizzle) to create your perfect bowl or cone.

We’re pleased to announce the opening of Banh Mi XO at Alexander Heights, complementing our diverse mix of food retailers.

Banh Mi XO is a family-owned Vietnamese eatery serving fresh, flavourful food from breakfast through to dinner. They’re all about tasty bánh mì, salad bowls, rice paper rolls, Vietnamese iced coffee, and fresh juices all made with love and the freshest ingredients.

Over the weekend, our community mural was completed, activating a blank wall near Australia Post.

The large-scale mural, featuring local flora and fauna, was painted by Linzi Carter Artist in collaboration with the local community as a part of our School Holiday activities.
