Introducing our amazing behind the scenes extraordinaire Stage Manager -SodaLicious! SodaLicious is a Filipino Indigenous Australian who belongs to the Nanda people.

Brown sugared caramel is the tingle on your tongue, as you take in the huge gulp that is this red-blooded concoction of seduction. Why settle for a dark and stormy, she is a Bla(c)k and tempestuous; a temptress with an electrifying bolt of pop. With sunny disposition, bask in her golden ochre radiance as it dawns on your deprived taste buds, for none other than SodaLicious can quench that deep dry thirst.

MC ANNOUNCEMENT: SERENITY VON VARDA

Introducing our wonderful MC!

Her Indonesian mother wanted a doctor but she got a broke drag queen with a big rhinestone budget instead. Award winning show producer, podcast darling, cabaret MC, pageant creator and one of Connections Nightclub resident queens, fundraising over $15K for national charities, raise the roof for this fresh faced diva dripping in fake swarovskis, it’s Serenity Von Varda!

CAST ANNOUNCEMENT: THE MOESHA

Moesha is a Polynesian blend of urban, street and a good time. Think Moana, but DRAG! Representing the Cook Islands and Ballroom she is BIPOC royalty. She is one of the founding parents of the 'House Of Reign' Boorloo's pioneering ballroom house and a leader/mentor and cultural leader of the Cook Islands Community WA. Moesha will be Performing a number based on her connection to her culture through the story of voyage of her ancestors, bringing her unique style of traditional Cook Islands dance with a modern spin.

CAST ANNOUNCEMENT: MISS SAMIA

The Bae of Bengal, Australian Bangladeshi multi-award winning comedian, Miss Samia , is not your typical ethnic "good girl". Teacher by day, certified baddie comedian by night, find out about the anecdotal stories of her love life (or lack thereof), being raised by strict ethnic parents and her pressure to get married,
and the hilarious day to day interactions with her students at school. She's opened for international names, sold out her solo debut run of shows at Fringe 2022, and has multiple awards under her belt.

CAST ANNOUNCEMENT: JOJO FIRESTAR

Jojo Firestar is an Australian Chinese burlesque dancer, musician and producer. She is the creator of BIPOCity - a variety show highlighting an all BIPOC cast. She creates, performs and produces stories of empowerment that highlight struggles and controversial issues such as slt shaming and fighting the patriarchy. Having worked as a human rights advocate for 20 years, she sees the arts as another form of activism, a big f-you to systemic racism, the patriarchy and dangerous cultural and societal norms.

She might seduce, amuse or scare the living daylights out of you in equal measure, but she’ll always leave you wanting more.
