With local talent being represented less and less, independent events and spaces matter more than ever. We’re just trying to do our part by staying consistent and platforming sounds we genuinely love and believe in.

Having played across the UK, including Boomtown and shows across Scotland and Wales, she’s also been keeping busy closer to home with recent shows in Sydney and a support slot for at Boomroom.

Sofi is a Boorloo-based DJ with an instinct for the dance floor. Globally inspired, her sets draw from Latin bass, UK bass, UK funky, jungle, percussive techno, breaks, club and hard drum.

Percussion-rich and bass-heavy, her sound is unapologetically dance-focused, creating an atmosphere that’s equal parts sweaty, sexy and playful. With a natural feel for rhythm and energy, she knows how to keep bodies moving.

Burna, half of Forge and a lover of percussive, bass led club sounds.

Join him earlier in the night, fresh off recent shows in New Zealand and Japan, for an hour of heavy hitting club tracks, including cuts off recently released EPs Kick the Git, False Promises and Elsewhere, among a bunch of other tunes he’s loving.

Having taken his own music from Boorloo to clubs and festivals around the world, including Outlook Festival, Boomtown and headline shows in Paris, Belgrade and Helsinki to name a few, Catch Burna bringing that same energy this Friday.

Luke grew up as a club kid in the boorloo scene and has always been keen to share his love for dance music with others.

He’s ready to take full advantage of the basements sound system with hard hitting low end music.

You can expect slamming early 2000s genres such as dubstep, grime, techno and jungle at his upcoming set at Forge next Friday.

hannah ⭐️, aka Hannah, is a Boorloo-based DJ shaped by internet culture and a love for hard dance in all its forms. Drawing from hardstyle, techno, dubstep and the wider world of EDM, her sets channel the energy of a generation raised online, weaving together iconic tracks, unexpected edits and bass-heavy selections that feel both familiar and chaotic in equal measure.

Influenced by years spent in online music communities, gaming soundtracks, festival clips, SoundCloud rabbit holes and love for internet culture, girlpees approaches DJing through a lens of collective nostalgia. Blending sounds that define formative online experiences with contemporary club music, her sets move between euphoric melodies, distorted kicks and high-intensity rhythms, creating moments that feel both reflective and progressive simultaneously.

A familiar presence in Boorloo’s local scene, she has played everything from intimate local parties to larger events, including a recent appearance at boomroom.
