Assembly + Co.
Assembled with purpose, to deliver unexpected solutions instead of expected outcomes. Assembly + Co.
was borne out of a vision to partner with clients who have an appetite to commit to projects with a clear purpose, and then be brave enough to deliver unexpected solutions instead of expected outcomes. We believe that through the creation, cultivation and investment in new ideas, products and properties, we can transform the way destinations are delivered to market.

EXHIBITION // Perth’s west end is hosting an exhibition of Indigenous art from across Western Australia. The Yarpurra Exhibition converts a dormant retail space on Hay Street into a six-week showcase of the many emerging voices coming from the desert regions of Western Australia.
Yapurra (West in Martu) is presented by in partnership with Lotterywest. This project speaks to Activate Perth’s Fill This Space programme by filling empty retail spaces with events and activations. Curator Emilia Galati has reached out to her extensive network and created a cohesive exhibition. Works have been sourced from Aboriginal owned art centres Maruku Arts and Martumili Artists with proceeds from sales going back to the artists.
Working with Activate Perth, international property managers identified the space at 915 Hay Street as ideal for an exhibition of this kind. Building owners have provided the space at no cost to the artists.
Exhibition: Yapurra
Dates: Tuesday 19 September - Thursday 26 October
Times: Monday to Friday, 12noon - 6pm
Address: 915 Hay Street, Perth

ZERO // Brand new and never exhibited before, AEON (or Zero) by Perth artist is a site-resonant and experiential installation conceived in response to the significance and notion of ‘centering’ a city.
Point Zero is the marker from which all distances to Perth are measured and represents the centre point and civic heart of the city. Situated on the south-east corner of the Old Treasury building on the corner of Cathedral Avenue and St Georges Terrace, the marker was chosen during the building’s life as the state’s first post office and adopted in 1925 - two years after it ceased operating as a post office. An understated plaque marking the adoption was laid in 1975. Now, it continues to be the marker for all distances measured to and from Perth worldwide and, as a corner of the revitalised precinct, marks a return of activity for the city to where it all began.
This exploration of a ‘centre’, a ‘point zero’ through a light and sound-based installation allows the audience to physically get a sense of being immersed within a centre. This new light and sound installation envelops audiences into a timeless geography of what it means to be standing inside ‘zero’. Tom Mùller will collaborate with acclaimed Western Australian composers and contemporary dancers to create a truly immersive and absorbing artwork transporting the audience to the beginning – point zero.

LUCKY SEVEN // It’s incredible to think that seven years has flown by since we first opened the doors to Assembly + Co.
We began in a tiny windowless office devoid of running water, with Mirvac and the Uniting Church Property Trust as our first clients - two accounts who have remained with us to this day.
Today we have grown into a shining team of eight, surrounded by light and creative energy in a heritage office space in Perth’s iconic Trinity Arcade.
Don’t be fooled by the number though – luck has nothing to do with the success we have enjoyed over the last seven years.
On behalf of our clients, we have value managed millions of dollars in project and operational marketing investment across the retail, commercial, hospitality, multi-residential and residential property categories.
We have worked hard to provide unique solutions to complex commercial challenges that deliver economically, socially and culturally to society well beyond ordinary project outcomes.
As Western Australia’s leading property marketing solutions company, we’ve been busy getting the job done.
Every single person who has walked through our doors (literally or figuratively) has contributed in ways for which we will forever be grateful.
None of it could have happened without the co-contribution of colleagues who have stood alongside us over the years.
And our wonderful clients (past + present) who have given us their trust and the freedom to create something different and forge new ground.
Then there are our project partners, suppliers and collaborators who enable us to deliver integrated outcomes with integrity, transparency and openness.
Lastly, there are the mentors in the background who have consistently and patiently provided advice, encouragement and guidance to me along the way. Your generosity of spirit has made all the difference and at times it has kept me going.
Sure, number seven is lucky for some. For Assembly + Co, luck has nothing to do with it.
We look forward to sharing some of our project work and case studies with you all over the coming months.
