back when and i went to do these photos together my vision was that i wanted to be “fully immersed in nature” (a bit funny because how can we ever escape that really)

fast forward to many spikey things stuck in my foot and tangled in my silks,
every buzzy completely swarming harry’s face and camera,
us tip-toeing step by careful step on slippery stones to cross the river with harry’s crazy costly equipment..
our doting Mother (Nature) really does love us so much.. she gives us exactly what we ask for 🌀

a pair of fish encircle one another
playing with tales, constructing time
around and around
entrancing
it’s something of a romance and
a mutual hypnosis
between what was and will be.
i’ve seen a doorway that frames
and takes me to eternity;
beyond these two fish
play-fighting in the sea
is the current
that sweeps me away from an endless game of hide and go seek

a reworked piece written with saturn in pisces.
the dissolution of saturn’s planetary archetypes of rigidity & defined structure
into the abyss of deep, hazy piscean waters.
the disillusion of what we’ve all been taught is real and true
into the great soup of the unknown, of potential for what we most want it to be.

from across a coupla oceans, still on a west coast, just over the hills and far away, in calabria, italy. with ever-wide eyes that watch the ever-widening horizon around me.

growing up with shaky roots means i’ve always been a floater. on the one hand, nothing tied me down. on the other, i always questioned whether i ever felt ‘belonging’ wherever i went. but with incredible distance, physically and mentally, strangely, traces of those roots have started to re-surface.
how much i long for that ocean that’s seen the extremities of all my emotions.
the trees that bend at the strangest angles, and all fit together perfectly, as they have for an eternity.
the sunlight, pacifying me with its unbelievable strength.
a land that holds much wisdom. people that hold a lightness of heart.
a casual and endearing ridiculousness reverberates everywhere. i can’t quite put my finger on it, but it permeates it’s pulse through me.
home is where the heart is. right now my heart pounds deafeningly loud like a pack of karaks.

in the void of my online presence these last few months i’ve been out n about loving and learning in nepal and india. and my flames have been kept kindled and close to me for the journey🔥

my next step is a parvati party yayyy:)
ahhh i’m so in need of some big speakers, pumping out a hefty dose of psytrance. the dancefloor is truly medicine. india i can’t wait to dance amongst the curves of your mountains and under the gentle moonlight that shines on you. you are a great teacher. and the country of origin of this genre that has my heart. i’m humbled and wow, infinitely grateful🙏

pure love is in a damp cave
a corner amongst a thousand miles of rocky terrain
rubble obscures the entrance atop a mountain, far away
to approach first is a pilgrimage of long days, cold nights
but in this cave love glistens, so gentle and bright
piercing holes in the darkness pulses the little glowing light
stitching together the vastness that exists in between
those in search, and that which is here for you, waiting

i wish to cinch time, take you in
lay you down on stone skin
and you’ll gaze up to see a forest of ancient formations
stalactites drip wisdom formed over a thousand generations
if it seems like they’re falling, well it’s only an illusion
for they’re supported by and are supporting
the land far and wide, the very same your journey was forged in.

you know you’re safe here now
and always, in every location
luminous tendrils outstretch, they protect
and beckon you gently back into connection.

i enjoyed so much being a cheeky cheshire psy-cat for final opening ceremony with and friends.
this character embodies the playfulness and wonder that grounds me when i find myself in the depths of life’s chaos. for me that feeling is a developing sense of home within + without myself through all that is confusing and conflicting. when you learn that you can see amidst darkness, you light your own way. i trust in this and i know i won’t drown even if i’m pulled under from time to time.

my inner and outer life was techni-coloured so much over the last few years by the wondrous lands and people of . i’ll forever be changed, and will forever cherish those memories. in reflection of this, and inspired by cheshire, i thought of some words to say and accompany my silk fan dance

the journey into madness is an underrated one
but there’ll be conflicts, and there’ll be chaos, and there’ll be confusion
when you want it to be A or B and it turns out 3
because life’s not just black or white but the infinite shades in between
but you’re on your path, so lean into it
sit with the deeper part of yourself, trust in it
to be mad is to believe so fully in what you feel inside
take a leaf from the cheshire cat and let a smile be your guide
the real challenge is in overcoming fear
now you can let yourself go, we’re all mad here
with the support of each other, and the freedom to dream
we’re turning the madness in our hearts into reality
