Had it in the sun for 3 months to age it … no sign of fade.
Installation no hazzle , nuts and bolts available at hardware store
With a 3.5 m tree it holds 6.5 litre of water
Interesting that the texture on the bottom grips the carpet stopping sliding

4000 Christmas trees

Pruning and cutting down waste trees , I think after 20 years this might be the last year planting that means 6 more years of selling trees , which will make me 72 ….. whooo

2026 trees they look good enough to harvest now!

Cleaned up last years planting site, there’s about 35 trees left over that I will grow on for the commercial business, you can see the rip lines that the dozer has placed , it loosen the ground and lets the rain in. We plant in the rip lines approx June each year

4 weeks -28 days in the life of a cut Christmas tree .
Nothing special in treatment .
Just water very day, out of direct sunlight.

Day 20 . How long will a cut pine tree last

Test to gauge health of our tree .
No additive just water
Needles still green . No brown out
Water up take has slightly reduce from 750 -600 ml
We will run out to 30 days

I’m conducting a survival trial on Christmas trees
My tree was installed in a shaded room on the 19th of December
We will continue watering until either the tree looks like deaths door or 30 days
