Every Christian family longs for a faith that actually works in real life. This Sunday, Pastor Mat Rooker and Hayley Rooker are sharing their journey on raising families that follow Jesus.

During the month of June, our regular Sunday services will begin 30 minutes earlier at 2:30pm instead of 3:00pm.

This temporary adjustment is to help accommodate LGCC's "Month of Prayer" happening every evening in June.

Sunday services will conclude by 4pm to allow pack down, serving of light refreshments and vacating the building by 5pm.

Everything else about our Sunday services will continue as normal including SEEK classes.

We encourage everyone to plan ahead and arrive a little earlier so we can begin together on time.

Our normal service time will resume in July.

Thank you church family for your flexibility and support as we make space for LGCC’s important month of prayer.

As an extension of our "Family and Generations" theme this month, we're excited to announce that we're hosting a 'Blessing Generations' course on 12 & 13 June presented by Family Foundations Australia. These 2 powerful sessions will focus on healing, identity, blessing and strengthening relationships across generations and is applicable to singles and couples.

Gary Smith - has been a devoted Christian for over 50 years, living out his faith through both family and service. Married for 23 years, he and his wife have raised two daughters. He worked as a truck driver while actively serving in church as a youth leader and later an elder. He also attended Bible school, deepening his understanding of faith and ministry. Gary’s life reflects steady faith, practical service, and a genuine commitment to both family and community.

Sang Nguyen - is a senior leader in the mining sector with a strong focus on people, community, and long‑term impact. Known for translating complex challenges into clear, meaningful narratives, he brings together diverse stakeholders to deliver outcomes with trust and accountability, and a commitment to healing Country. Beyond work, he is actively involved in community and faith‑based leadership and service with support of his wife Anna and two kids. Come and hear the life changing experiences of how God has shaped his passion and drive, along with a group of brothers, to have a heart for all Men.
