Hey there, I'm Stacey! Currently, I'm pursuing my Diploma of Interior Design, and I plan to further my studies with an Advanced Diploma. From childhood, my passion for interior design drove me to endlessly rearrange my room and urge my Dad to paint it (which never happened, despite his skills). As a homeowner, I embraced my design flair, gaining confidence through renovations and the positive reactions of loved ones.
I call Perth, WA my home, and despite its nickname "Wait Awhile," I truly love it here.
Being a proud mother to a funny and caring little human, I've experienced a life-changing transformation. It may sound cliché, but he has given me a sense of purpose and motivated me to pursue my dreams. I want to show my him that regardless of the challenges life presents, you should always strive to pursue your dreams and goals.
My interior style leans towards monochrome industrial design. I adore the sleek, modern, atmosphere that emphasizes simplicity, raw materials, and a black-and-white colour scheme. This style is characterized by its minimalist approach, functional fixtures, and a harmonious fusion of industrial elements with contemporary design.
Upon completing my courses, I aspire to establish my own interior design company Pitcher Perfect Interior Designs. Growing up, my dad used to affectionately call our family "Pitcher Perfect" because Pitcher is our last name. As the youngest of four children and a daddy's little girl, my dad was my hero. He always motivated me to follow my dreams, instilling in me the confidence that I could achieve anything. Sadly, I lost my dad to pancreatic cancer in 2011, which remains the most challenging experience of my life. Witnessing the strongest man in my eyes succumb to such a terrible disease was heart-wrenching. Now, I want to make him proud and honour his memory by pursuing my dreams and highlighting his nickname for his family.
I would describe myself as creative, responsible, a perfectionist, and hopefully an entrepreneur. I thrive in teamwork environments and readily embrace new challenges. My primary goal is to absorb knowledge from everything around me and relish experiences that foster personal and professional growth. When I design, I like to believe that I can positively impact people's lives in some way, making their lives better through thoughtful and intentional design choices.
