Recovery is just as important as training 🧑‍🩰
If you want to perform at your best, don’t forget to prioritise recovery:
- Sleep helps your muscles, tendons and bones repair and recover.
- Nutrition provides your body with the energy to train and the nutrients needed to recover.
- Hydration supports muscle function, performance and recovery after class.
- Foam rolling and mobility can help reduce muscle stiffness and maintain good movement.
- Stress management is important because mental stress can affect how well your body recovers.
- Rest days allow your body to adapt to training, reducing your risk of injury and helping you come back stronger.

Recovery isn’t time away from training. It’s an essential part of improving performance and staying injury free ✨

Preparing for my Netflix documentary interview about the biggest myths in dance...🫢

1. Stretching isn’t always the best to improve flexibility
2. More training isn’t always better
3. Pain isn’t something you should just push through
4. Strength training won’t make you bulky
5. Rest isn’t being lazy. It’s part of improving

Sometimes the biggest progress comes from training smarter, not just harder
