Singapore's version of die Bo Kaap.
Interesting to see cultural diversity being celebrating in both nations through the use of colour 🌈

Is it a cup? is it a bowl? is it a mug?
This little guy has a Mystery Moss lid with the main vessel being glazed with sea green. The insides of both had a coating of glossy white as an undercoat, which gave the mystery moss a beautiful blue haze, and the sea-green gave blotches of white showing through.
A 1952 South African penny also makes an appearance!

Seagreen glaze bowl made
The inside of the bowl had a mat white undercoat, which did not work well at all with the glossy sea-green glaze and left blotches of exposed clay.
This could also have been caused by some dust that prevented the glaze from adhering to the clay.
Photo also features a 1952 penny from South Africa! Showing King George on the back.

A double-sided pouring bowl made .
Aubergine glaze. The bottom of the bowl had a glossy white glaze layer below the Aubergine, which was applied over it.
It gave a cracking result, rather than the white speckled effect when the glossy white was applied over the aubergine (see the bowl with eggs for comparison)
Also featuring, a 1957 South African penny!

A small painting that was done of a planter box at home.
Not my favourite, but still something nice to look at.
