We are pleased to be sponsoring the 2025 Bali Conference for The Piddington Society!

The Bali Conference is well-known amongst lawyers as one of the best professional development conferences, mixing CPD and social events for the profession. Speakers include leaders like the Chief Justice of WA Peter Quinlan, considering important contemporary topics.

It's not all cocktails and hanging out with colleagues, proceeds from all of Piddington activities go toward their access to justice projects. These supporting community legal centres to deliver free legal advice, legal education for First Nations students, and scholarships and financial support for the next generation of law students, and contribute more than $50,000 back into the community each year.

We're excited to go to the Bali Conference in 2025 to learn, connect with colleagues and support access to justice.

It was a busy day of CPD with many practitioners across Perth, in varying areas of law, learning about the changes and the practical implications on costs since the introduction of the LPUL in Western Australia

Lovely overnight trip down south for Amy Pascoe last night. Amy was a presenter at a seminar for SW Lawyers on the topic of the Uniform Law. How lucky are we to live and work in such a beautiful State 😍

The date has been set! The Attorney General has confirmed that 1 July 2022 is the date Western Australia joins the Legal Profession Uniform Law Scheme!

The Piddington Society is presenting a CPD seminar weekend over 3-5 June 2022 in Exmouth. Our Amy Pascoe is excited to be one of the presenters over the course of the two days and will be addressing legal costs considerations under the Uniform Law.

To ensure compliance, our legal practitioner director, Amy Pascoe, is offering law practices in WA the option of personal attendance to amend your current costs agreements. In house seminars to the relevant staff are also offered, to assist in explaining the changes and impacts.
