Now run by a lovely couple whose family has been making tofu in Japan for over 100 years.

They bring to you a Japanese-focused menu using fresh, high-quality ingredients, and possibly one of the first of its kind in Perth - tofu made right in front of you!

After an unforgettable chapter, it’s time to say goodbye — for now.

Running Ittaba over the past two years has been an absolute joy. We’ve created incredible memories, shared countless moments, and built something truly special together.

Now, the time has come to pass the torch. We’re handing over the keys — but don’t worry. The new and talented team are stepping in to bring something fresh, exciting, and totally unique to Mt Lawley!

To our cherished customers: thank you for every visit, every kind word, and every meal shared. You’ve truly been the heart and soul of this place.

To our incredible staff: your passion, dedication, and spirit transformed Ittaba into more than just a restaurant — you made it a home.

And to our amazing suppliers: your consistency and care helped us bring our very best to the table every single day. We couldn’t have done it without you.

As we prepare to close our doors, we’d love the chance to see you one last time. Come in, share a meal, and celebrate all that we’ve created together. Let’s fill these final days with laughter, love, and unforgettable food. Our last trading day is 11th May, 2025.

Though this chapter is closing, it’s not goodbye forever. We’re taking a step back, recharging, and dreaming bigger — and we promise… we’ll be back.
