🧜‍♀️✨ Mermaid, mermen & pure Fringe magic ✨ No plans. Just wandered out… and somehow magic. We accidentally stumbled into one of the most beautiful little moments at @fringeworldperth — and honestly… I’m so glad we did. We were already at The Pleasure Garden for a show in the Big Top, then wandered outside afterwards — just in time to catch the Mermaids at the Splash Zone. Kai could not believe his eyes — meeting real-life mermaid Britney Spearfish and merman Billy Finn (those names though 😅). Wide eyes. Shy smiles. High-fives through the giant tank. Total awe. Such a surreal moment watching him take it all in — but honestly, this one is just as magical for older kids too. And yes… it’s called a splash zone for a reason! 💦 Expect a light splash or two — just enough to cool off and add to the fun on these hot summer days. What I love most? In a festival where so much is ticketed, this experience is completely free and genuinely accessible — welcoming families, little ones and people of all abilities.
