Modim Anachnu Lach. I give thanks for this amazing Temple David community and the Perth Jewish community.

Yesterday was my 50th birthday, and I spent time with the residents of the Maurice Zeffert Home, which is such a beautiful community. From there, I went to be with our community at the funeral of the mensch Mike Gomer z”l. Mike epitomised compassion, warmth, and sincerity through his many years of caring for the Chevra Kadisha.

I then went out to dinner with my beautiful family, together with the ever-thoughtful Simon and the boys. It was a full and meaningful day, made even more special today by being greeted with flowers from the Temple David Board of Management and congregation in celebration.
