1. Look beyond the presentation
Fresh paint and good styling can make a property feel great at first glance. Pay attention to the things that are harder to change, like the layout, natural light and location.
2. Ask questions
How long has the property been on the market? Have there been any major renovations? The more information you gather, the better equipped you’ll be to make a confident decision.
3. Stay objective
It’s easy to get caught up in the emotion of finding “the one”. Take a step back and ask yourself whether the property genuinely meets your needs, budget and long-term goals.
