Here's whats happening: the DSC yaw sensor might pick up a higher-than-expected value for a given steering angle, making the car think it's about to spin out and triggering the DSC. This becomes more noticeable on an E46 with standard suspension and well-worn tires.

But hey, if you're not into coding adjustments, no stress – many have lived with it without any complaints. You can opt for a quick fix by hitting the DSC button and turning it off.
