Vehicle Order Correction after failed advanced coding by another workshop.

Completely destroyed wiring for a DCT gear position sensor. Throwing faults and stuck in park.
Repaired instead of replacing the whole DCT control assy. Vehicle now goes better than before. 😁

325e E30 with an absolute lovely assortment of used and ununsed wiring hiding behind the bash panels. A cold start module that was hand soldered from the factory in the 80s.

Unfortuently a little bit to late for the power trunk lift module. Main IC and current sensing destroyed by water intrusion into the boot.

Registering your battery lets your engine control module (DME) know that a new battery has been installed and as a result, the vehicle will reset the saved battery statistics and won’t try to overcharge / undercharge the new battery, thinking the previous one is still installed.
