We announced the release of the initial Rucci Strength range of equipment in October last year. Unfortunately we did run in to some manufacturing issues as part of the process which delayed our release.⁣
⁣
We've been getting a fair few people ask over the last 6 months and unfortunately we haven't had much of an answer. Now however we are getting ever so close to the finish line. Our first batch of elastic is now almost finished and ready to commence our initial first batch of product.⁣

An exact ETA is still not known but we will keep you posted on the progress as it happens but the wait is almost over.⁣

One of the first products we will release is the "Roma" 2.5m Knee Wrap.⁣
⁣
A lot of people have been asking us about the elastic design. 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯!⁣
⁣
To give you some background... we have two decades of experience between us in the sport of Powerlifting, we run one of the biggest Powerlifting clubs in the country and we coach possibly one of the biggest teams. That experience means we understand the needs of the lifter including the underlying requirements of elastic design.⁣
⁣
In saying that, when designing this elastic we wanted to create something that provided sufficient stopping power coupled with as much rebound potential possible. The best of both worlds so to speak.⁣
⁣
Now, we understand that knee wraps are a very individual thing and all lifters have different tastes, so we don't expect everyone to use our knee wraps. However, we do feel our design caters to the needs of the majority without biasing either end of the spectrum.⁣

As any good product development should be, we have been testing our knee wraps on the down low and here is some feedback from two lifters:⁣

So some fantastic feedback from two very strong lifters which gives us confidence on how the product will be accepted.⁣

We’ve just confirmed the product packaging for the first line of products!

We’re not overly keen on throw away packaging so opted for something a little more sustainable - black mesh drawstring bags.

Your ‘Roma’ knee wraps, wrist wraps or lifting straps will come nicely packaged and you can store them in there for the life of the product or use the bag for something else entirely.

When we launch you’ll be able to buy directly off our web site RucciStrength.com or in store at the ProShop or other recommended stockists.

When we started talking about what we wanted 𝘙𝘶𝘤𝘤𝘪 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩 to hold at it's core it was clear that our product had to be made here in Australia! ⁣
⁣
The world is changing in so many ways. Many of us are searching and striving to support local business and keep our local economy churning instead of sending money overseas, in particular to low cost centre countries often with questionable ethical practices.⁣
⁣
To us, having an Australian made product was an absolute non negotiable and we've been working for awhile to bring even the first range of products to market.⁣
⁣
To give you some context...⁣
⁣
Our late dad ( ) and his family migrated to this amazing country called Australia after WWII in search for a better life. Dads ship, called "Roma" (the name of our flagship product line) was actually headed for Sydney but when they landed here in Frementle they decided to take a leap of faith in a small city, called Perth. We're so glad they did. We inherit their decision to not only migrate to Australia but to call Perth their home.⁣

Being Australian means a lot to us, and having an Australian made product is just one way we can support and honour our heritage and the memory of our dad and his family.⁣
⁣
At this stage we are on track for a late 2020 launch but stay peeled to our social media as things start to unfold. ⁣

We are now awaiting the arrival on the final elastic for the knee and wrist wraps. Once arrived, production will begin and at this stage we are estimating we’re about 8 weeks away from final product ready to ship.
