Been a minute since I post a case. Since I am having insomnia, I thought to post this case up.
I worked this case with both Mehdi Valizadeh and Bruno DiGregorio. Implant was done overseas and to be honest, I'm not sure how to classify this abutment design. The crown was cemented to the healing abutment and the only retention it had was the slot for the unigrip driver.
Thank you Mehdi for the referral and the CTG. Always nice to work with you.
Anyone else seen it?

Last post of the year. Ortho-pros communication.
Due to canine impaction, a central was lost. Orthodontic therapy was commenced by the talented dr. Richard Lee. Mid ortho build up was done and going back to ortho. I find good communication in these cases are key.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you everyone that I have worked with this year. Looking forward to 2024.

The man, the myth, the legend. Never stop being inspired this by this man. Been 5 years since fellowship but your evolution never stopped and never stop inspiring us. We are very lucky to call you mentor and have spent time with you. Was really good to see everyone again.
Thank you for the amazing event and allowing us to help run the hands on. Made a lot of new friends, had a great experience, and many good memories.

What is your go to anterior restorative material? As technology develops, I’m finding myself prescribing monolithic restorations more. In this instance we were able to satisfy patient’s aesthetic concerns with monolithic restorations with the help of talented

Age centric restoration.
Sometimes, shade matching ‘aged’ teeth is more satisfying than doing full aesthetic rehabilitation.
Thank you Ricky Lee for the lab support!

Kois deprogrammer. The information this device give is so invaluable in the diagnostic phase of a rehabilitation. The more I practice, the more I rely on it. Thank you for teaching me the value of deprogrammer during my residency days.
Not printed, but made with love. Thank you for helping me fabricate this.

First post of 2023.
Perfect space appropriation always makes the prosthetic easier. Glad we were able to complete this case before the end of the year. Hope for a good 2023.

I can see you…
Sometimes, it is unpredictable how a tooth will response after trauma... This patient had trauma to the 11, then RCT, then apical surgery, and resulted still with persistent infection. Patient was referred to me for an implant, but no grafting was done during apical surgery. I was lucky that he had more bone apical to the defect.
An immediate implant placement with a window to clean the area, root shield, and immediate provisional was done.
This one is for you .davidattia 😉
Thank you for the help with the final restoration.

Acid wear can be severe…
This patient suffered from previous reflux. Making sure the reflux is under control is part of our therapy. Too often we only focused on the teeth.
Thank you and with the help giving this patient his smile back.

Long span bridges. Normally, I don’t favour them, and prefer implants in order to have shorter spans. However, in this case the initial bridge lasted for many years, even with poor fit… so hopefully my bridge will last just as long! 😅
Thank you for the lab support.
